Tameside College Selection Process
Samantha Powers (Social Value Specialist for Onward Manchester) approached Connolly’s in relation to supporting Tameside College Apprentices, we thought that this would be a great opportunity for the students to work alongside our site teams and gain some extra knowledge.
Samanatha made links with Nicola from Tameside college and the selection process began.
CVs were provided and Interviews carried out with the students at college, all 7 students were remarkable and secured a work experience place on our Onward Hattersley Site.
The students have been working with our Joiner Jack who came through our Apprenticeship programme and is now a fully qualified Joiner, and with Regan who is currently on our Apprenticeship programme. This is great inspiration for the students to see the fantastic progression available within the industry.
