This scheme involves the construction on a new petrol filling station and Costa Coffee Drive Thru. Our works also involve site parking and associated landscaping.
The project will involve a steel frame construction and the installation of a forecourt canopy.
The priority of our client is to ensure Costa Coffee and ESSAR can start operating as quickly as possible. As part of our commitment to the client we will be undertaking phased handovers to facilitate a partial opening to the public whilst works are ongoing.
We are currently working alongside the client to develop a time efficient land remediation strategy. Instead of adopting a traditional approach which assumes that the whole site is contaminated, we will work with GEO2 to identify “hot spots” that require remediating and will implement a localised cut and fill approach which makes best use of the remaining existing land.
As part of our works we will work closely with the design team and petrochemical specialist to identify and co-ordinate works as efficiently as possible.
