National Apprenticeship Week
National Apprenticeship Week is a great opportunity for the education, skills sector, and businesses to celebrate the achievements of apprentices around the country and the positive impact they make to communities, businesses, and the wider economy.
Last year we had the pleasure of working alongside Sale sharks and their HITZ Programme, HITZ is an award-winning education programme developed to help previously unemployed young people aged 16 to 19 to turn their lives around.
Eve, our Trainee Liaison Officer from the programme is thriving in her new role and without the programme, Eve wouldnt of had the opportunity into employment with training along the way.
Linda Beaumont Social Value Manager Connollys said ‘Eve is doing incredibly well in her new role, at first she was quite shy but with the right support around her she has flourished into a confident young lady and is a great asset to the team, programmes like HITZ really do help young people shape their lives’.
